This July, MSI Communications announced the promotion of Kris Miller from Vice President to President — a move that was applauded inside our agency and outside among clients.
If you’ve ever worked with, or even met Kris, you know that her energy is infectious. It’s a resource that promises to serve MSI well in her new role supervising and managing all daily operations. Though plenty of “movers and shakers” have energy, what makes Kris special is that hers is fueled by love and loyalty to her clients and her team.
Kris has led strategic planning and campaign management for some of the agency’s biggest clients including BP Exploration, Alaska Airlines, Visit Anchorage and now ConocoPhillips Alaska. As Vice President of Client Services, she supervised and trained the new and veteran client service team for the past six years. Kris has conducted multiple advertising and digital marketing workshops for industry peers, received dozens of awards through the Public Relations Society of America and leads the strategic planning process for the agency.
As part of this promotion, her predecessor and agency-owner, Laurie Fagnani, now assumes the role of Chief Executive Officer, where she will be responsible for more of the long-term growth and direction of MSI.
Kris is excited to be at the helm as MSI journeys ahead and has already begun discussions on new elements within our industry, such as AI and augmented reality. More foundationally, she is dedicated to us all, applying the agency’s values as we continue to provide best-in-class service to our family of clients.
