Alaska Safety Alliance: Career Pathways

The Alaska Safety Alliance has a mission to provide a safe, trained, and ready workforce for Alaska’s industries. The maritime industry includes many careers that are perhaps less common than oil and gas, mining, or construction careers. To encourage interest in maritime careers, MSI traveled to Kodiak, Whittier and Seward to interview and film real Alaskans at their day-to-day jobs in the maritime industry. The result was several micro-videos, each showcasing a career, the education required to enter the field, and the opportunities for growth and advancement.
